Wrapping up Independence Day celebrations and a few weeks to go until Labor Day, we hope you are enjoying those warmer days with icy cold beers. The middle of summer also means beer festival time. The Colorado Brewers Festival was held in Fort Collins last month & had a great turnout with dozens of state favorites. Also coming up in July: New Mexico IPA Challenge, Oregon Brewers Festival in Portland, the 3rd annual Milwaukee Beer Festival and the Top of the Hops in Jackson, MS. August brings a regional Midwest favorite: the Great Nebraska Beer Fest.
*American Homebrewers Association held their annual 3-day conference giving brewers a chance to attend workshops, seminars and group events to build their skills and learn more about the craft.
*Hangar 24 Craft Brewery in Redlands, CA celebrated their 4th Anniversary with 5,000 of their closest friends and peers in the craft beer community.
*Coming up July 26th the New Mexico Brewers Guild is holding their IPA Challenge: Battle of the Hops. Thousands of lucky judges will get to choose the winner from 15 of the state’s top IPAs during a blind tasting.
